This is a children’s worship service by Sandi Geis that helps us expect and cherish that Jesus is born in us today and every day. Mini-dramas follow the interactions of a modern-day family as they anticipate the birth of a new baby. Recitations point to the birth of the baby Jesus long ago to save us and his presence with us now to bless us. The service includes prayers, Scripture readings and carols of the season, like “Joy to the World,” “Away in a Manger,” “Once He Came in Blessing” and “O Little Town of Bethlehem.”
The complete worship service includes the script and notes for leaders in .rtf (rich text format), a PowerPoint document of the entire worship service with text and images (with a copyright release) for use on screens.
