Convicted is a themed Lenten series that includes full worship liturgies and sermons that enable the congregation to step into a court room for Ash Wednesday and the following five weeks of Lent. Each Convicted service puts a different Biblical person on trial, accused of a 21st century crime. An overall guiding question leads the arguments of each case while the congregation serves as the jury.
The download includes a .pdf of the entire services, text of the orders of service, readings, prayers, dramatic sermons, children’s messages, and hymns in .rtf (rich text format), web banners, a list of contemporary music song suggestions and a PowerPoint document of all six services with text (with a copyright release) for use on screens. Kits are not returnable.
