Seven brief homilies serve as the outline for this "hanging of the greens" service, beginning with the undecorated church and the Advent wreath, then drawing lessons from the colors of Advent and Christmas, and finally the crèche. The service is designed so that various parts of the decorating may be done during worship or used to kick off the actual decorating.
The CD includes prayers, mini-homilies, Scripture readings, newsletter/bulletin notices and music as well as a CD-ROM (Mac/PC) with the text of the entire kit in .rtf (rich text format), a list of contemporary music song suggestions, web banners and a PowerPoint document of the entire service with images and text (along with a copyright release) for use on screens.
