Inspired by the Order of Penance, this new Lenten penance service for church communities offers a seasonal Liturgy of the Word (featuring the Gospel parable of the Prodigal Son and the Forgiving Father) and a final blessing for group use. This booklet, with imprimatur, contains an Examination of Conscience and the Act of Contrition to help individuals prayerfully prepare for the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation.
Each order includes a copy of the rubrics for presider.
